Family-First Policies
Vineyard should be a city that prioritizes families in every aspect of development and policy. That means ensuring our neighborhoods are livable, drivable, and safe for everyone.
Too often, cities prioritize profit over quality of life, leading to overcrowded developments, unsafe streets, and a lack of essential services. I believe that every decision the city makes should put families first. That means designing infrastructure that prioritizes safe crosswalks, walkable neighborhoods, and bike-friendly pathways so that parents and children feel secure traveling through our city. It also means strengthening our recreational programs to provide better opportunities for youth sports and community activities. Vineyard should be working with neighboring cities to expand our recreational offerings, ensuring that our families have access to top-tier programs.
Our goal should be to create a well-connected, safe, and vibrant city where families can build their future with confidence. The foundation of any great city is the strength of its families, and I am committed to making sure that every decision in Vineyard reflects that priority.
